Control Synthesis
The final lecture synthesises the week’s content: kinematics, dynamics, path planning, and control are brought together into a unified view of a robot’s software stack. Topics include task-space control, impedance control concepts, and an overview of how modern robot control pipelines are structured in industry and research.
Students will also receive a detailed briefing on the home assignment — a simulation-based project to be completed during the post-physical virtual component, applying the control concepts developed this week to a new scenario.
